We started the Easter festivities on the Friday before Easter. Little C and her friends did a little egg hunt and activities at the church. She got her face painted. She had thought about a dozen things to get painted on her face but when it was time she decided on an Easter egg.
The older kids hid the eggs and then the kids went by their age group to go hunt for them.
They had a cupcake walk with some very creative and yummy cupcakes.
Then on Saturday we had our own Easter egg hunt inside the house because the yard was still wet and muddy from the rain we had previously.
Aunt Becky and Aunt April got to hide the eggs. They did a pretty good job since it took Big A and B some time to find them. Little C was very excited to find hers too.
Here is some that "B" collected.
Big A is pleased with her findings.
Then we went on to color Easter eggs.
"B" is displaying her perfect blue egg.
Then the family went out to lunch together to celebrate "B" turning eight and getting baptized.
It was so fun to have family in town for the occasion. Here the girls look into the font as it is filling up.
We had a friend of ours help us take pictures. The family took several as well. But they did the black and white photos which always look stunning to me. Here is our stair step girls!
Beautiful "B" waiting for the baptism to start, having a good time with family and friends.
Beautiful "B" in her baptism dress.
She had her dad baptize her.
This is the classic "B" face when she is thinking- "Dad, I know that already!"
Here is the family after the baptism. Two down and one to go-but I am not in a hurry. These girls are growing up way too fast!
