Fieldtrip

Our preschool group took a fieldtrip to see the helicopter that Captain Paul flies for work. He let them try out the sled that they put the injured people on, he let them try on his helmet and sit in the cockpit and be a pilot for a moment. He also read them the story "Herby the Helicopter" Code 911 which is a story about a little boy who is hit by a car while riding his bike and is injured because he did not have his helmet on. Herby the helicopter and the crew come to do their job and fly him to the hospital. The boy is alright in the end. Here is some pictures of "C" trying out all the stuff.

Aspiring artist or childsplay?

So a few times this week I have gone into my girls bathroom to find this wonderful artwork all over their sink. We finally narrowed it down after the two oldest said "It wasn't me" to find out that "C" has begun an obsession with the older girls toothpaste. Maybe "C" is trying a new medium in painting? Hmm. The funny thing is that it is always just around the sink and in the sink. Never on the floor, or the toilet or anything else. Maybe she is trying to tell me the sink needs more color? I have reminded the two oldest that they need to put up their toothpaste after using it in the morning. And when they forget, I am sure to find another masterpiece!

Numer three turns 3!

Her birthday started in the usual birthday tradition for us. Doughnuts for breakfast. Mmmm.

Here she is tasting the goods.

The family singing Happy Birthday.

They grow up so fast don't they? "C" brings us so much joy and is a delight to be around. We love her so much and are blessed to have her in our family.

"Coffee house" or well "Hot chocolate house"

Today at the school, A's first grade class did a coffee house. They had cookies and hot chocolate instead of the usuals for Coffee houses. But the attire was pretty close. Each kid tried to wear as much black as they could. "A" would of looked good with a beret, but we didn't have one. Oh well. Each 1st grader wrote three poems and had a chance to read them to the group. She did pretty good! Snap, snap, snap!

This week "B's" class has focused on the cat in the hat. Today "B" ate green eggs and ham at school, and got to dress up as the cat in the hat.

"C" wanted to get in on the action also, so "B" was kind enough to let her try the stuff on.
