We had Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Twelve and J. Christopher Lansing of the Seventy come and speak at our Stake Conference. Our Stake met in the Plainfield High School auditorium. We got there early and had good seats. The choir and speakers were very uplifting, and the girls were excellent and let KP and I listen to the whole thing. There was one little potty break for #3, but she really couldn't help it, we had arrived early and she didn't need to go before we left. I was happy to hear Elder D. Todd Christofferson invite the children to come shake his hand. We have to thank a High Councilman in our ward for being there in the right place at the right time. He was video taping for someone else and decided to keep it running for us and he shared this video clip with us! I can't thank him enough for capturing a wonderful moment for our girls.

What kind of flower are you?
re was a quiz that told you what type of flower you are and yep, there are several of them. And yes, I wasted some time taking them and these are my results. The first one came back as a flower I have never heard before- but to me it sure looks like a yellow daisy-This is the description-Coreopsis: cheerfulness/joy. You take life by the day and enjoy every single moment. You are kind and caring and a good listener. People are attracted to the happiness you seem to radiate. You understand that life could be a lot worse, and appreciate everything you have.
So yeah, I guess you could describe me as that. And the other results were..... you guessed it- A Daisy: You're sweet, friendly and always ready to give a smile. So maybe the type of flower you fancy really does say something about you?

Can cobwebs be beautiful?
Last week we had some freezing fog which made everything look like winter as it was covered in ice crystals.
As I was walking my daughters out to the bus stop that morning I looked up to see spider webs covered in the ice crystals. After I got over my pure digust for my lack of cleaning skills of my entrance to my house, I had to take a picture, because it did look pretty cool at the same time.
