This summer I have scheduled Saturdays as fun days for the girls. It could be exploring another part of Indiana that we haven't discovered, or something fun and out of the ordinary for us to do. This last Saturday had beautiful weather so we decided we would go explore the Arts Park up in Northern Indianapolis.
The girls favorite piece of art work was this upside down house.
The girls even liked to pretend to pull up on the house to get it upright again.
The Arts Park even has a river that flows behind it. They have a riverside amphitheatre that the girls were having a good time dancing around on. Even though you can't see it in the picture the river is behind me.
We were having a picnic up on the stage, and when we started there were no geese in sight, but not too long after we started we had a whole flock of geese coming with hopeful thoughts of us feeding them. Well the girls couldn't disappoint. So they fed them crackers because I hadn't packed any bread for this picnic and we didn't think the geese would enjoy watermelon, cheese, or meats.
It was a great day to enjoy the wonderful weather, spend time with family and enjoy nature and art.
