Grass project

KP decided to tackle the job of reviving our lawn after numerous years of neglect from previous renters. The landlord is reimbursing us for whatever improvements we do, so it makes it worth it. We call this our practice house. We can learn on this house, and then when we own our own again we can tackle the projects with some knowledge and skill under our belts.

This is the grass after Klinton tore up all the weeds and thatched the yard. It was already bare in most parts because of the extreme dry summer weather this year.

We patiently waited and watered, and watered some more, just waiting to see the beautiful shoots of grass that come up and tell you that all your hard work has paid off.
We were never so happy to see a tint of green to the yard. It has been about a month and it is looking good.
KP says he could have put more seed down, but it is looking better than it did before. I guess we shall really see what it looks like in the spring.
